On Friday 9 June, Technicity.brussels accompanied the representative of the Office of the Minister for Employment and Training in the BCR, Mr B. Clerfayt. Our Marketing Manager, Ingrid Vossen, had the honour to speak during one of the 4 panel workshops regarding « Making Skills Count ». In this European year of “Make Skills Count” we had the opportunity to give our insights regarding the following questions:
- What challenges companies face in training and developing their workforce and acquiring skills on the labour market
- How SMEs, businesses and industry can be encouraged to invest more in workers’ skills
- If European funds for skills development are sufficiently accessible to SMEs, businesses and industry
- Are education and training establishments adequately meeting the training needs of SMEs, businesses and industry
